Dr. Taffy began working in the ministry at a very early age from singing in church choirs, teaching in the nursery to being the Assistant Sunday School Secretary. She provided peer counseling while in the military to co-workers and even classmates in college.

Dr. Taffy attended a School of Ministry through her church in 1996. She was active in her church volunteering in different ministries in addition to singing in the choir. She and her husband, Eric Wagner conducted couples seminars and provided couples counseling through a ministry within their church. They have been sought out even individually by husbands or wives facing challenges in their relationship. 

 

Dr. Taffy is a much sought after dynamic speaker regarding personal finances, home ownership, women’s issues, business issues and more. She has spoken at the Answers4Women online conference, Denver Public Library seminars on Personal Finances, 32nd Annual Urban Financial Services Coalition Conference, Single Mothers of Color Financial Symposium, African American Leadership Institute Expanding The Vision and Sistah Pride Conference, The Virtuous Woman Tour and more.

 

Dr. Taffy is the best-selling author of Debt Dilemma and Homebuyer’s Helper. She has also written Discharged into Debt which is a book for military personnel and their family on personal finances.

 

Dr. Taffy has been interviewed on The Michael Dresser Show, The Bev Smith Show, World Talk Radio, Everyday Wealth Radio, Voice America and other local radio and internet shows. As a well-known personal finances expert, she has been interviewd by The Associated Press, US News and World Reports, Called Magazine and quoted in Black Enterprise, Essence Magazine, Woman’s Day and Black Parent Magazine. Dr. Taffy holds many degrees and wears numerous hats including homeschool parent and entrepreneur. She believes her greatest accomplishment is being a “WILLING VESSEL that GOD USES” to accomplish HIS PURPOSE.
