30,000 Expect to Attend Nation’s First Diversity Military World Heritage Expo

September 27, 2008 By: taffywag Category: Spiritual Food, Testimonies No Comments →

Last time I shared with you about our team. When you are talking with people that are like minded, can see growth in each other and help each other achieve their dreams - what a time you will have. There are days when we think wow - what fun we are having. Talking, laughing and even keeping each other on point.

As the time draws close for the Nation’s First Diversity Military World Heritage Expo, I am reminded of the Chairman of the Diversity Military World National Planning Committee saying it is about making the youth and even parents aware of the opportunities the military provide. It is not all about being in combat, that is a specific job for a specific branch of service.

“  This history-making event is designed to let your warfighters know how much we value them, adds DMWHE Planning Committee member, Dr. Paula Miller-Lester, publisher of MWIB magazine and founder of Lydia’s Ladies Ministries. At the same time, we are giving veterans, minorities, women, and youth - our future the information they need to succeed in today’s marketplace.”

The Diversity Military World Heritage Expo has something for everyone. If you are in the DC/VA/MD/NC/SC area, join us at the Diversity Military World Heritage Expo - www.dmwe.org . Listen to our 60 second spot here. dmwe-radio-spot.mp3

Speak THE WORD

June 30, 2008 By: taffywag Category: Spiritual Food, Testimonies 1 Comment →

Have you spoken THE WORD today? Or have you been speaking what you see?  Let me share what I mean by that. When it appears in the natural that you are not able to pay a bill - what do you speak? Do you leave the bill on the desk and not call the company? When someone speaks negatively about your children - do you agree with them? Or in any of these instances do you speak THE WORD. For example with the bill - do you say, God, your Word says My God shall supply all of my needs according to HIS riches and glory in Christ Jesus.  God says I am the Lender and not the borrower.

Let me encourage you today, God’s WORD is alive. Over the last few weeks I have watched some prayers manifest almost instantly. There have been days when I’ve had to stop and take a deep breath. I am having fun with my relationship with God. There have been times when I’ve been on the phone with a Sister and we have gone into a Praising and Thanking God conversation because of what he has already done. God says keep him in remembrance of HIS Word.

When you Speak HIS WORD it must come to pass. It is not Your Word. Stand on HIS Word. It says in Isaiah 55, it will not return to you VOID.

Spiritual Word for a Friend

June 30, 2008 By: taffywag Category: Spiritual Food No Comments →

Do you recall a time when you were minding your own business, going about your daily work and God gives you a Word for one of your brothers or sisters in Christ? When this happens to me, I listen to the Word and then deliver it when God says to. There are times when it is immediate meaning I have to stop what I am doing and either call them or send an email. There have also been times when I needed to get the Word and then wait for God to instruct me on when to share it. Either way, you must be obedient as to what God is telling you and when he says to deliver the Word.

I am always blessed when the person says okay, I hear you Lord. I say that because I do not know what the person is dealing with BUT GOD!!! Halleleujah. Remember, obedience is better than sacrifice.

My Sheep Know My Voice

December 21, 2007 By: taffywag Category: Spiritual Food No Comments →

Jesus said, “My sheep know my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). There have been times when God has told me something and I was thinking no that was me. So I didn’t take any action. Then within hours or even a few days later, confirmation comes through a person that has no knowledge of what God told me. That always brightens my day and excite me. It blesses me to know that I heard God and it was not me. That I have a relationship with him and he is talking to me and with me.

John 10:27 says my sheep know my voice and maybe you are asking yourself how did you think it was you? I thought it was me because it  was something that I wanted and could have just said it was God. Then nothing happened from that thought. The great part is I got that confirmation through someone who had no idea what God had told me. I have even got confirmation through two or three witnesses. I love it being HIS Daughter and having an awesome relationship.

Has this happened to you? You heard something from God and was not sure it was him. Thought it was you and then confirmation came through a person who didn’t even know what he had told you. Feel free to share.

Food for Thought

December 21, 2007 By: taffywag Category: Spiritual Food 1 Comment →

Welcome to my blog for Taffywagner.com. On this blog will be my posting of revelation that I have received and even lessons I have learned. Maybe you will learn from it, share it with a friend or it might not apply to you at that time.

Remember I said this would be me sharing my revelation.  If you receive insight, may you be blessed. If you read something that makes you go hmmmm, put it on a shelf until later when you could potentially gain understanding. I thought it was time for me to share even more of my walk as a believer.

One of the first things I want to say it is best to always remain teachable. As a teachable believer, I remain open to God’s leading and guiding. I don’t box myself in to saying I already know everything because I don’t. I am not perfect and far from it. I love learning new things and different ways to accomplish a goal. What about you?

Are you teachable or are you no longer able to be taught?
