I decided to write this post because it pertains to personal finances and it can be seen as a testimony and spiritual food. Keep reading and you will see where I am going.

I have always been a giver and someone who has a heart to serve people. That is my heart to give, help people and make a difference in someone’s life. Today, a dear friend - reminded me that is who I am and have always been… a person who has a heart to serve.

For those of you that have known me a long time, I have always taught on personal finances for individuals, single parents and wives. I did that online and offline. Well, in late 2007 every time I turned around I was up at night thinking about personal finances and couples. It was keeping me awake at night with excitement.

Even to this day, this program Debt Stops At The Altar and Money Talk Before The Commitment walk that is a little over a year old, continues to keeps me awake at night with excitement. I started writing blog posts for Debt Stops At The Altar over a week ago and been having loads of fun with different issues that couples face. If you are new to my posts, you will soon find out I provide practical and realistic solutions. I do not believe in fluffing anything up. It is fluff that has caused some of us to get into trouble.

I was waiting to see when this would happen. Let’s face it what is happening with the economy is affecting many people. Sure enough, it will cause one to lean on their faith like never before. This is a time when you find out what you are made of.

Have you spoken THE WORD today? Or have you been speaking what you see?  Let me share what I mean by that. When it appears in the natural that you are not able to pay a bill - what do you speak? Do you leave the bill on the desk and not call the company? When someone speaks negatively about your children - do you agree with them? Or in any of these instances do you speak THE WORD. For example with the bill - do you say, God, your Word says My God shall supply all of my needs according to HIS riches and glory in Christ Jesus.  God says I am the Lender and not the borrower.

Let me encourage you today, God’s WORD is alive. Over the last few weeks I have watched some prayers manifest almost instantly. There have been days when I’ve had to stop and take a deep breath. I am having fun with my relationship with God. There have been times when I’ve been on the phone with a Sister and we have gone into a Praising and Thanking God conversation because of what he has already done. God says keep him in remembrance of HIS Word.

When you Speak HIS WORD it must come to pass. It is not Your Word. Stand on HIS Word. It says in Isaiah 55, it will not return to you VOID.

God is an AWESOME GOD. He is WORTHY to be PRAISED. So much has happened since the last time I wrote.

Give HONOR and Thanks to God. Look at these PRAISE REPORTS:

•    Took the Twins on vacation to Louisiana, saw my mom and other relatives. While gone received another contract job.
•    Completing contract jobs in excellence unto God and not unto man.
•    Hearing God clearly and speaking when he says Speak to whomever he tells me to.
•    Giving - being a financial blessing when God leads to whom, how much and the time.
•    Seeking the KINGDOM of HEAVEN and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and ALL THINGS ARE ADDED unto me.
•    Opportunities to minister and share God’s Word on a daily basis
•    Praise God for a supplemental program he lead me to for my homeschooling program. I was able to minister to the Sales person on the other end and provide a resource for him.
•     Favor that I already have before I speak with people.
•     Husband’s portrait studio is lining with up with God’s plan. The clients are also already chosen and will begin contacting us.
•     The team I have been blessed to work with for Diversity Military World, LLC
•     God’s guidance, direction, correction and anointing.

Ladies and Gentleman,

  God is faithful. He never leaves you or forsakes you. His WORD will not return to him void but will accomplish what it was sent out to do. You better stand up and testify. God has been good to you and better than you have been to yourself.

  Let me share about GOD’s Greatness. Remember on the last post I was sharing how I had gotten 3 contract jobs. Well now, I have gotten another one and it is huge. Praise God. He is Worthy to be PRAISED.

  I mentioned that I attended my first bridal show and it was good. I did not get any sales on the spot but Halleleujah, I have tons of leads and know that I will get sales. I had a second bridal show that I was initially planning on attending but was not going to do it due to money. Do you know I was given favor and it all worked out. I will be at the second bridal show. God had already gone before me and prepared the way. I expect to go to the bridal show and completely sell out of everything on the spot and come home with tons and tons of paid orders.

I encourage you to stand up and testify. Something happened today I am sure that you did not know God had already done for you. Share, it is your turn.

God is an Awesome God, WORTHY to be PRAISED. Over the last few days, I have seen God MOVE quick, fast and in a hurry. I am sooooo excited because we just started this year and he is manifesting in the NATURAL what he already gave me in the Spirit.

Example - I am a freelance paralegal and I didn’t have that much work last year. I was grateful for what I had and knew the time would come when I had work again. I received four jobs last week. Bless the Lord.

Another Example - Today, my new product - The Debt Stops At The Altar was debut at a bridal show in Loveland, Colorado.  I had such a wonderful time educating parents, brides and grooms about money management.  I was able to teach them to think beyond DEBT but communication - communicating about money and thinking about solutions. I received awesome feedback all day. I know my box is going to be full of emails from people wanting the gift package.

Our twins - they have been swimming extremely well since I started working with them regularly in September. We removed them from their swim class and I began working with them three times a week. Now, they are jumping in the water, swimming up and down the pool on their back and attempting to touch the bottom of the pool. Talk about level of confidence has increased. God is sooo faithful. I had been praying about their being comfortable and good swimmers. They ask us to go to the swimming pool all the time now.

I can go on and on. What is your PRAISE report?

Praising God for extra times with our twins

Utilized a new method in teaching our twins and they absolutely loved it. Being led by God’s Spirit you will always achieve HIS Purpose.

Worked with Husband in his studio and helping his studio manifest in the natural. It is wonderful to watch God release the vision.

Thanking God for giving me my first sponsor of one of my products and know there are many more to come.

Praising God and thanking him that I have Godly sisters and women that keep me accountable and I can make sure I am on the right page.

Praising God for the opportunity to be a vessel that he can use for His good pleasure, to further HIS Kingdom.

Thanking God for getting me in the place I need to be.

Thank God for his correction and teaching me that I continue to grow and help others.

I realize it is a late but wanted to make sure that I shared my Praise report for the second day:

  Taking a breath this morning. Each day is not promised to you.

  Being in a warm home with our twins and not on the street. It snowed a lot today.

  Being led by the Spirit of God. I had a small challenge surface with a potential partner and I am thanking God that we were able to work it out where it benefitted both of us.

  Seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven and his righteousness and all things being added unto us.

  Husband, brother, friends and others got home safely tonight.
